What song are you listening to?
Johnny Copeland guests on a couple tunes. Not the best streaming quality but heck, it was 1985, eh?! Nevertheless, one of the great masters of all time. Makes it looks so damn effortless as well.

Here's one that is reminiscent of Dynamite Annie (to some of us)
@zBrown Ugh! Maybe that was Woodstock "14 hours ago" but is now some sucky Rod Stewart.
Well nothing lasts forever, but it's free

Bro Hooblie said I would find you here.
Frank Zappa ≈ The Gumbo Sessions
Frank Zappa &The Mothers Of Invention ≈ Dupree's Paradise
It is a pretty lame list in my humble opinion. I would say the list includes Matthew Brown's favorite guitarist, or a computer generated list. How could any one make a list of 43 top guitarist's without Robert Johnson or Leadbelly who heavily influenced so many of the people on his list?
Robert Johnson guitar playing is the inspiration of at five of the guitarists mentioned including Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan and Keith Richards. Led Zeppelin's success has a lot to do with "borrowing" Johnson's lyrics (and were sued for copyright infringements for doing so).
Lead Belly was a 12 string guitar virtuoso as well as a multi instrumentalist. Both George Harrison and Kirk Cobain honed their skills from his works. George Harrison once stated that "without Lead Belly there would have been no Beatles".
Larkin Poe ≈ When God Closes A Door
Larkin Poe ≈ Tom Devil Dead
So happy to hear from you
Just like old times, eh
Steve Earle, The Dukes, Some Guy
Same here Zb, I am trying to recruit some of the other regulars.
Muddy Waters ≈ Unk in Funk
Muddy Waters ≈ Electric Man
