Many commented on how Paul Humphrey really struck a chord with us over at Supertopo. I thought I would put up a link to his "My Up And Down Life, Disaster Master" TR. Several called it "This is my all-time favorite Taco TR." [graniteclimber]. I Darwin found it a powerful powerful read.
I lived in Arcata and Humboldt Co back in the 70s but never met him. So if any of his friends want to "own" this thread, I'm happy to pull it and let you start your own.

I didn't know Paul until I read "Paul's Balls" on the Taco.
And then I went back and read all his stuff.
He was one interesting individual.
